Although storm doors are not needed for insulation with the new steel entry doors, they are still wanted for light, ventilation and security. Many times of the year it makes us feel better to be able to open the inside door to let the sun shine in or get a nice breeze. With the crime problems occurring all around us, we never know who is at our door when the bell rings. With a storm door you have another barrier between you and that stranger when you open your inside door.
Strength
In order for a storm door to operate correctly two things must be happening – the corners of the door must stay together and the hinges must not sag. Welded corners, instead of corners screwed together, and 4 interlocking hinges with bearings, instead of the weak continuous piano hinge, add strength and durability to Trapp’s stylish door designs.
