Owned
We are a family owned local business that was
started by Cedric DuHadway. Now Mike, Jim, and JoAnn,
the third generation, own and operate DuHadway under the
same original name. Some companies have changed names
several times in just the last several years. We have
continued the tradition of offering quality products at
a fair price.
No Subcontractors
One of the best ways to maintain quality control
is to use full time employees to install your windows,
doors, and siding projects. We don’t use subcontractors.
The problem with many subcontractors and other
companies’ employees is how they are paid. They are
usually paid by the job. If there is a problem and they
take the time to work through it, their pay is cut. We
don’t pay our people on a piecework basis. We know it is
a bad way to keep quality work. We know because we have
been working with homeowners since 1946.
Buy Nationally
DuHadway buys products from national companies
not local regional producers. These companies have long
records of producing quality products and standing
behind their warranties. A warranty is not worth much if
the company is not around to service it.

Better Business Bureau for Northeastern Indiana. In fact
a great idea is to call the BBB (423-4433). Use their
automated system to check on us and any other company
you are considering. All you need is the phone number of
the companies you want to check. You’ll be surprised by
the number of complaints registered against recognizable
companies. We have zero complaints.
