When to Use a Picture Window
Picture windows or fixed windows do not open for ventilation. This window style is often used in Prairie, Tudor, French, Ranch, and Contemporary designs. The size and shape of a picture window is only limited by the design style and available space. Picture windows offer unobstructed views top to bottom and side to side. Placement Picture windows are often joined with awning windows, casement windows, or double hung windows to create window walls that are both beautiful and functional. Angled or curved-top picture windows add dramatic effect to a room. When a picture window is placed above another window, the picture window is often called a transom. Super Spacer makes your glass warmer.
