Sliding Windows

When to Use a Sliding Window
Sliding windows are often used in Ranch and Contemporary designs. As a rule sliding windows are wider than they are tall, but they can also be square. This style is great for sunrooms. You can have bigger unobstructed views and less framing.

Saves Space
With double sliding windows, both glass panels slide to the left and right without projecting to the outside. This makes this style ideal for use along walks, decks, and patios.

Convenience
With lift-out or tilt-in sash the double sliding window is so easy to clean. All windows on the first and second floor can be cleaned completely from the inside. No need to use ladders or hang outside to clean windows any more. Full screens let you have good air movement. Push each glass panel toward the middle, now you can get air from both ends. Half screens are also available.

Larger Sizes
Larger widths can be accommodated by using a three section sliding window. The glass panels can be divided into various size widths to achieve the desired look.
